2011 House Resolutions

Happy New Year everyone! Welcome to 2011.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to make lists (It's a virgo thing!). So here's the list for the house in 2011:

-Finish the new office and move the office from the spare bedroom to the new room.

-Set up and decorate the spare bedroom for guests

-Finish reupholstering the vintage chair

-Build a shelf for the blue console table

-Install missing trim on the house exterior

-Finish painting the house exterior (Yay!)

-Get a new front door

-Install missing bits of trim in the house interior

-Dig up the floor in the basement

-Upgrade pipes, rough in plumbing for a bathroom and waterproof the basement

-Pour a new floor in the basement

-Frame and insulate the basement

-Install electrical and Pot Lights.

-Drywall the new basement

-Install new basement stairs

-New windows in the basement

Bonus Items:

-Complete a new bathroom in the basement

-Install built-in storage in the new family room in the basement.

-Decorate & furnish the new basement family room

-New couch & finishing touches for the main floor living room

-Complete the new Laundry and storage area

Another big year for us and Betsy (the house) with the basement reno being our main goal. We are both excited to get this project complete as it will make a big difference to our house and the way we live in it.
