We drank many a fine wine, beer and even Patron.

We had pleasure of the company of this cute fellow. Bubbles, play doh and "tennis" galore.

We shopped Montreal's fine stores and markets and enjoyed the patios.

We even made a few purchases this weekend. We picked up some bar stools from Antiquites A @ Z on Amhurst Street. Amhurst Street is the place to visit if you are looking for vintage furniture.

We're not a 100% sure on the bar stools. We see the potential and the price was right. They are not exactly what we were looking for. But since we have been looking for 2 years why not give them a try. I am working on them this week and they are starting to look better already.
We also found this little guy at Zone. One of my favourite stores to stop into in Montreal. Oh how I wish they had a store in Toronto. We seem to pick something up from there every trip.

This guys and 2 of his friends will be replacing the generic hooks in our entry way.
The only thing I don't like about Montreal is the drive from Toronto and back. Especially in long weekend, crazy traffic. It makes the taking the train look really appealing.
Overall a great long weekend!

What a great weekend!
the bar stools have loads of potential!
I love Montreal! Lucky you.
Happy you enjoyed the city! On Amhurst A @ Z is definitely the space to shop- good prices. And Zone is addictive!
Some little suggestions: Next time you're in Montreal try heading to Finnegan's market for antiques. Also there is a Mega centre de recuperation on Montreal-Toronto road that (although very dingy) has great stuff at fantastic prices.
Thanks Nancy. I will check it out the next time I am there.
Thank you for your comment this morning. Unfortunately, the bed was sold, and not to me :((( I'm super upset, but that's life.
Thank you for visiting, and see you around blogs soon :)
