Day 7 and all the weeping tile is in place. The 4" of gravel has been prepped and the reinforcing wire added. The basement is ready for the concrete floor to be poured tomorrow!
This is an impressive project! I've only just started reading about it so maybe you've already mentioned... what made you start? I'm lookin forward to seeing the next steps.
Hi Ethan-The main reason for doing the basement waterproofing is to resolve some water issues we have had since moving in. The motivation to do it was we are expecting a baby in April. Our house is very small and we want to add an extra bathroom and somewhere for guests to sleep over.
We're not sure on the flooring as of yet. It seems so far away. Likely we will do a laminate of some kind in the large room and tile in the bathroom and laundry room.

Very cool. Do you plan on tiling over the concrete? coloring it? or something else?
